About The Position

The Grounds Maintenance Cleaning Attendant is responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of public restrooms and the depot deck at the Bryson City Depot. This seasonal, non-exempt position requires teamwork within the Grounds Maintenance Department to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the property, contributing to a pleasant environment for visitors.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse personalities.
• Valid Driver License.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean property buildings including public restrooms and the depot deck.
• Ensure bathrooms are stocked and clean.
• Clean and sanitize tables and chairs used under tents.
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the property.
• Maintain property grounds including trash pick-up, cleaning, weeding, and watering of flower beds.
• Aid in maintaining seasonal decorations to ensure they look neat and well-kept.
• Work collaboratively with the Grounds Maintenance Department to achieve departmental goals.
• Perform other duties as requested by the department manager or senior management.
