About The Position

Great Escapes RV Resorts is a growing company specializing in acquisition, development, and management of RV Resorts throughout the United States. Our leaders serve a diverse sector of the RV resort / hospitality industry. The Grounds Lead is responsible for the overall grounds of the camp-resort, including but not limited to the facilities, equipment, and overall resort appearance.

Requirements

Proven experience as maintenance technician.
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of ground maintenance tools and equipment.
Oversee and perform a variety of actions to support ground staff including but not limited to mowing.
Operate deck mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedgers, chainsaws, pole saws and other various equipment.
Ensure our activities facilities are prepared for events (i.e., fields lined, activity areas trimmed and outlined, trash cleaned, equipment checked, etc.).
Monitor shrubs and trees on all campuses to ensure necessary cut and trim operations are conducted.
Assign ground staff to areas for trash clean-up each day.
Monitor campus areas to ensure leaves, grass clippings, debris and other trash are removed.
Coordinate with Supervisor to schedule grounds staff to assist in maintenance projects (i.e., set-up equipment, move heavy ladders/lifts, deliver finished products, etc.).
Perform routine maintenance on artificial turf fields, sweeping, deep grooming, etc.
Perform routine tasks to maintain the grounds and equipment.
Perform any additional routine cleaning / maintenance on property as requested as needed or directed.
