About The Position

Opal Foods is accepting applications for the position of Grounds Keeping Crew for our Neosho, MO location. This position is responsible for all upkeep related to grounds (lawns, driveways, parking lots, etc.) at all assigned locations while maintaining compliance with all company policies and government regulations. This position may also be asked to assist on other projects or job duties as needed. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.

Requirements

• Self-motivated
• Demonstrate ability to drive vehicles and plows
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Candidates must not have contact with any bird species of any kind, other than the laying hens owned by the company

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain lawn mowers, weed eaters and other equipment for safe operation following manufacturer and company standards
• Prepare herbicide solution and spraying equipment for safe application
• Cut and weed-eat grass and spray for weeds on and around all assigned locations
• Clear and maintain working areas and roads during snow
• Clean up litter around litter barns
• Clean out wash stations
• This position will use various work vehicles (lawn mowers, gators, ail-handlers, plows, etc.) to complete assigned duties
• Comply with all company bio-security policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by Lead person or Manager
