About The Position

PURPOSE Maintains buildings, production areas and grounds by cleaning, lawn maintenance, inside cleanliness. May assist with more complex maintenance duties as time allows.

High school completion or GED preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively with employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee is occasionally required to sit.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with building maintenance and light mechanical maintenance duties is beneficial but not needed.

Responsibilities

Transports recyclables and trash to appropriate containers for all buildings on Menasha campus.
Maintains outside appearance of buildings by cutting lawn, removing snow, and general garbage pick up.
Helps on forklifts cleaning and checks.
Completes painting projects in the buildings and outside as needed.
May assist with maintenance projects such as change furnace filters and other filters in the plant.
General upkeeping and maintenance of walk ways around all buildings.
Performs light mechanical duties and helps with maintenance projects which may include local trips to secure supplies.
Changes light bulbs as needed in the plant and offices.
Cleans refrigerators, microwaves, and conference room sinks.
Cleans and helps organize the shop.
May check in parts orders (U.P.S.-FedEx).
Regular attendance at work.
Other duties as assigned.
