About The Position

The Grounds Foreman will be responsible for supervising and maintaining specific areas of the Hotel grounds They will lead a team of 10 12 members ensuring organization communication and efficient maintenance practices This individual must possess experience in team management equipment operation pest scouting trimming techniques general landscaping and irrigation moisture management with a strong motivation for delivering high quality results

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment and tools
• Knowledge of pest identification and control methods
• Understanding of proper trimming techniques and general landscaping practices
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and moisture management

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform tasks such as mowing planting trimming hedges shrubs and trees
• Oversee fertilization and chemical applications as needed
• Communicate effectively with the team regarding moisture management requirements
• Utilize a high lift for tree trimming when necessary
• Ensure the grounds are well maintained and aesthetically pleasing at all times
• Implement efficient landscaping practices and techniques
• Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve goals and maintain standards of excellence
