About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supervisor to join our team. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating janitorial services while maintaining a clean and safe environment. The supervisor’s primary focus will be ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and operational efficiency of the sites under his/her supervision. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary based on client requirements and business needs.

Groundskeepers are responsible for the custodial and upkeep of outdoor spaces. This position requires a combination of practical skills, and the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. It involves performing a variety of manual labor tasks to ensure that the grounds are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of janitorial supervisory experience
• Proven track record of successfully managing janitorial projects, including staff supervision, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals, as well as industry standards and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding customer expectations.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish - Preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass criminal and drug screening processes to meet current contract eligibility requirements that apply.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions is preferred
• Must be available to work from 5:30AM - 2:30PM and on weekends
• This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
• This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of janitorial staff of over 10 employees, ensuring that they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Candidate must have a proactive approach in dealing with high-value customers
• Conduct regular inspections of cleanliness, identify areas for improvement, and address any issues or concerns.
• Trains employees in orientation to the building, proper work techniques, and schedules, usage and conservation of supplies, operation of equipment, and safety practices.
• Generate regular reports and updates on project status, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to janitorial services, and implement necessary changes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
