About The Position

Blue Heron Pines Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic Grounds Crew Member to help maintain the golf course's majestic tree lines and natural beauty. In this position, you'll be spending your day on the 18-hole course ensuring that the landscape is healthy and captures the natural charm of the pine forests at the Jersey Shore. The goal is to use your expertise to help drive memorable experiences for golfers of all ages. Requirements

Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching.
Must be able to drive a mechanical vehicle.

Responsibilities

Precise mowing – greens, tee boxes, fairways, rough, and around clubhouse.
Edging, raking, and other duties including sand trap maintenance.
Pulling weeds, trimming trees & shrubs, mulching beds throughout the course and clubhouse.
Grounds clean up on course and around clubhouse, including limbs, sticks, trash, etc.
Assist in cleanup and maintenance of equipment.
Make repairs to irrigation system as needed and learn operation of system.
Change cups and tee markers.
Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and cultivate shrubs and flowers.
Assist in project work including but not limited to construction of greens, tees, and fairways; prepare soil base; lay sod and seed tees, greens and fairways.
Ability to safely and properly operate trucks and motorized equipment.
Perform other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
