About The Position

FSI is looking to hire a Grounds Contract Maintenance Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for overall management and coordination of Grounds Maintenance. The CMM-G plans and executes landscaping operations and maintains grounds and landscape. Manages a team of workers, regularly inspects work and executes work as necessary, maintain equipment and assign workers to various projects. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintains flower bushes, trees and shrubs and cultivates gardens. Prepares and grades terrain, applying fertilizers, seeding and laying sod and transplanting shrubs and plants and cultivates them. Plants new and repairs established lawns. Recognizes disease and insect problems and performs pest control operations. Mows and trims lawns using hand or power mower. Prepare weekly schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads. Maintains pesticide application records, employee timesheets and other records as assigned. Leads, guides and trains other employees in supporting rolls. Assign workload and monitor completion of work assignments. Ensure all employees adhere to the safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • The CMM-G shall be a Licensed Landscaper with a current and valid Professional Certification before starting work
  • The CMM-G must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have experience working in the commercial landscape maintenance industry
  • Must have valid Driver License
  • Must be able to pass a background check to be able to access the base
