About The Position

The Summer Grounds and Janitorial position is responsible for grounds maintenance and upkeep at the RLM Golf Course clubhouse, as well as janitorial duties in and around the company's public facilities including Red Lodge Mountain, Grizzly Peak Outdoors, and the Red Lodge Mountain Golf Course clubhouse. This is a seasonal, non-exempt position that reports to the Facilities Manager.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
• General janitorial/cleaning skills.
• Basic landscaping skills.
• Self-motivated and efficient.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends/holidays when necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to move snow, dirt, rock, debris, stand/walk for extended periods, and move safely in varying terrain conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a janitorial position.
• Prior experience working with the public and providing exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge of the ski and golf industry.
• General maintenance/construction skills.
• Prior experience using side-by-side, 4-wheeler, snowmobile, truck plow.

Responsibilities

• Clean all RLM facilities, including the clubhouse, GPO, and public facilities on the mountain.
• Efficiently clean and stock all bathrooms in all facilities throughout the day.
• Assist with snow removal, runoff mitigation, debris removal, and various grounds upkeep tasks.
• Assist other departments with cleaning/maintenance issues.
• Empty and transport garbage and recycling.
• Effectively communicate with other employees both in person and via telephone/two-way radio.
• May be transported to various facilities via golf cart, UTV, snowmobile, chair lift, or snow grooming machines.
• Assist in addressing issues involving the general maintenance of all mountain, golf course, and downtown facilities providing a quality result.
• Assist in electrical, plumbing, heating, or any other facility related issues.
• Work with department on basic infrastructure issues involving water and sewer.
• Effectively communicate and work with other employees to achieve a fun and safe work environment.
• Provide good customer service.
