Groundman / Cement Operator
About The Position
Capital Materials is currently seeking Groundman / Cement Handling Operator to support concrete plant operations for the 2026 construction season. This role is ideal for dependable, safety-focused individuals who enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team that keeps production running smoothly. Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude required (hands-on experience preferred)
- Experience unloading pneumatic tankers strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable with strong work ethic and team mindset
Responsibilities
- Unload pneumatic tankers (cement, fly ash) safely and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain powder systems, silos, and related equipment
- Perform routine inspections and basic mechanical plant maintenance
- Assist with plant operations, cleanup, and general labor duties
- Identify and report equipment issues to prevent downtime
- Follow all safety procedures and plant protocols
