Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic Ground Systems Engineer who is fueled by high accountability, execution horsepower, and driven to understand our world, science/technology, and life itself, for the benefit of all on Earth and beyond. POSITION SUMMARY Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy Ground Systems Engineer. This role contributes to the design, development, testing, and verification of Axiom’s Ground Systems, including the Mission Control Center and Mission/Sim networks. The engineer will work closely with cross‑disciplinary teams, Axiom personnel, and NASA to define requirements, develop network architectures, configure hardware, and build analytics, software tools, operational processes, and console products that enable Mission Control operations in Low Earth Orbit. In addition, the role supports Axiom’s Private Astronaut Mission (PAM) flights to the International Space Station. This role will be onsite at our Space Station Development Facility (SSDF) in Webster, TX.
