Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have own tools
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving skills
- Acceptable driving record required
- Work effectively with minimal supervision individually or as a team
Nice To Haves
- Experience in repair of ground support equipment including super tugs, catering trucks, maintenance trucks, heat carts, and aircraft generators.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on Ground Support Equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Troubleshoot and repair vehicles and ground equipment
- Complete and process applicable paperwork for maintenance repairs
- Assist with coordinating repairs with outside vendors
- Ensure equipment and tools are maintained in good working condition
- Identify and report problems that could impact daily GSE ground operations
- Assist with training of newly hired individuals
- Accomplish housekeeping and repair of GSE ground) shop, as required
- Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines
- Other Duties as assigned
