About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Ground SW Engineer with a Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI pref) to work from either our King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO location(s). This is an MID-SR CAREER (level 4) ROLE where candidates typically require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree. We are looking for software engineers to craft and build innovative solutions for our customers. You will be part of an Agile team that utilizes state of the art commercial standard methodologies such as DevSecOps (automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, etc.) and modern development tools. You will participate in progressing system capabilities from early design through site acceptance focused on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices. As a member of a hard-working team that are passionate about their trade, focused on mission and system quality, and supportive of timely delivery of features and capabilities. Requirements

Deep Software Development, Software Engineering background, with a track record of successful project delivery
Experience developing ground subsystems
Cloud/containerization experience with a good understanding of distributed systems and designing for scalability
Experience developing microservices
Demonstrated expertise in Scaled Agile development methodologies, with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and teamwork across Agile Development Teams.
Current TS Clearance required for consideration with the ability to quickly obtain an SCI.
5+ years of professional experience
BS degree

Nice To Haves

Meaningful experience designing and implementing software solutions using the following technologies: Java, C#, Python
Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration
Working knowledge of DevSecOps Pipelines
Excellent understanding of Agile Methodologies as they relate to the Scaled Agile Framework
Experience with Agile, automated test, CI/CD, and regression testing
Committed with strong problem-solving skills applied to software engineering solutions
Previous experience delivering highly reliable Communications / Ground subsystems

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and maintain object-oriented ground system software applications using Java, C#, C++, Angular, Python
Support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability
Collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology
