About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Ground SW Engineer with a Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI pref) to work from either our King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO location(s). We are looking for software engineers to craft and build innovative solutions for our customers. You will be part of an Agile team that utilizes state of the art commercial standard methodologies such as DevSecOps (automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, etc.) and modern development tools. You will participate in progressing system capabilities from early design through site acceptance focused on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices. As a member of a hard-working team that are passionate about their trade, focused on mission and system quality, and supportive of timely delivery of features and capabilities. Be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and a desire to have fun with your work. As Ground Software Engineer Sr, you will: Design, implement, test, and maintain object-oriented ground system software applications using Java, C#, Angular, Python Support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability Collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree. Requirements

Software Development, Software Engineering background, with a track record of successful project delivery
Experience in Scaled Agile development methodologies, with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and teamwork across Agile Development Teams.
Current TS security clearance required for consideration.

Nice To Haves

Meaningful experience designing and implementing software solutions using the following technologies: Java, C++, C#, Python, Apache Kafka, Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark, Apache Fink, Amazon S3, Ceph, protobuf, avro, Cuda, OpenCL
Cloud/containerization experience with a good understanding of distributed systems and designing for scalability
Experience developing ground subsystems
Experience developing microservices
Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration
Working knowledge of DevSecOps Pipelines
Excellent understanding of Agile Methodologies as they relate to the Scaled Agile Framework
Experience with Agile, automated test, CI/CD, and regression testing
Committed with strong problem-solving skills applied to software engineering solutions
Previous experience delivering highly reliable Communications / Ground subsystems
