About The Position

Crew member essential to plant operations at various locations by providing ground support to maintain production levels. Train for general upkeep, plant operations and laborer duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to shovel and provide assistance under extreme temperatures.
• Ability to use power and/or hand tools.
• Ability to maintain a courteous and professional manner.
• Flexibility with schedule and location changes.
• Ability to adhere to PPE policy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with other plant employees to maintain plant operations as instructed by plant foreman to ensure daily schedules/estimates are met.
• Provide physical assistance to plant personnel under extreme temperatures and for extended hours of time.
• Use power and/or hand tools needed to complete jobs within specifications.
• Oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance according to company policy.
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public.
• Be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, and time of shift changes.
• Perform overtime work as required.
• Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in a functional condition.
• Follow directions and take initiative to assist with other positions for job completion.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.
