About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of field experience in GPR scanning and core drilling, preferably using a GSSI Mini-XT.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GPR operation, scanning techniques, and interpretation of data.
  • Proficiency in core drilling, including proper setup, execution, and cleanup.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in diverse environments and under tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (may require travel to various job sites).
  • Physical ability to lift and operate equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle the physical demands of the job.

  • Reside within a 50-mile radius of the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain GSSI Mini-XT for scanning concrete, locating utilities, and other subsurface structures.
  • Perform precise and accurate core drilling in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Analyze and interpret GPR scan data to identify rebar, post-tension cables, conduits, and other embedded objects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to discuss project requirements, findings, and recommendations.
  • Document scan results and prepare detailed reports.
