The Aviation Ground Instructor is responsible for the training and evaluation of Aviation topics to new hire and current personnel. This position will be responsible for day-to-day operation of Basic Indoctrination and performing administrative duties related to facilitating Basic Indoctrination and training. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Conducts all aspects of training Pilots and Clinicians in the practices and policies at Air Methods and all required training topics Reviews, maintains, and revises training material while keeping it current and engaging Participates as assigned as a specialized knowledge resource Provides support for department goals and monitors compliance Evaluates, appraises, and controls class participants Produces accurate documentation, schedules, and reports with attention to detail while ensuring training requirements are being met Other duties as assigned Additional Job Requirements Regular scheduled attendance Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 5% Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
