Our GEOINT Ground team is responsible for leading and coordinating ground enterprise lifecycle systems engineering activities including requirements, CONOPS, and architecture development in the remote sensing domain for current and future systems. The candidate will lead GEOINT ground mission thread initiatives for future systems through systems integration, acquisitions, integration and test activities, and readiness events and is required to have strong GEOINT systems engineering background and significant Airborne Battle Management and/or space and ground domain knowledge in customer mission technical capabilities and performance. The candidate will provide subject matter expertise to teams coordinating, establishing and assessing requirements, CONOPS and architecture products, assessing system and segment schedule and risks, supporting release planning and capability demonstration events in support of system and acquisition integration of new systems and initiatives in support of expanded GEOINT mission capabilities. The candidate will review, evaluate and derive requirements for traceability and testability. The candidate will design, develop, and implement test and evaluation plans to ensure delivery of ground systems meet system specifications and defined enterprise capabilities, and integrate ground segment and system elements together. The candidate will have the aptitude to assess processes and create efficiencies continuously, and may lead projects for systems teamwork, have frequent client interactions, and support system and mission strategy development across the various ground offices. The candidate will have daily interaction with the customer and supporting contractors and will need to follow customer standards and processes as the program matures through the life cycle. The candidate will interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and facilitate risk and action closure with Acquisition Offices and users, and support technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support to recommendation briefings. This position requires an understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission and services closure.

  • Must possess and be able to maintain TS/SCI with poly.
  • Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with Ph.D.
  • More than 5 years’ experience with space/ground systems engineering, acquisition, systems integration, integration and test activities.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and projects performing engineering and integration activities for new systems and initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities.
  • Experience writing CONOPs, defining requirements, mitigating risks, establishing and evaluating schedules, collaborating on test and integration activities.
  • Experience with Airborne Battle Management mission set and/or acquisition experience for combat control programs.
  • Technical familiarity with one or more GEOINT systems.
  • Prior experience with GEOINT ground mission processing or mission control systems, and/or mission operations.
  • Experience with agile acquisition and DevSecOps in service-oriented architecture (SOA) environments.
