About The Position

Turner Staffing Group is hiring Ground Crew / Maintenance Technicians to support a mining operation in Hinkley, California. This role is essential to keeping the site running efficiently by supporting equipment maintenance, performing general labor tasks, and assisting operators and supervisors with day-to-day operations.
This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who are hands-on, dependable, and looking to grow within the mining or heavy equipment industry.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude or prior maintenance experience preferred
• Experience in mining, quarry, construction, or industrial environments is a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
• MSHA certification (preferred; may be required prior to start)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment and plant machinery
• Perform general labor duties including cleanup, shoveling, and site housekeeping
• Support equipment operators and maintenance personnel as needed
• Conduct inspections and report wear, damage, or safety concerns
• Assist with fueling, greasing, and servicing equipment
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
• Work in and around active mining equipment safely and efficiently
