About The Position

Cedar Grove Composting is looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join the Ground Crew team in Everett. This full-time position involves various tasks such as conveyor belt management, load monitoring, plastic picking, general maintenance, and compostables sorting. The role offers opportunities to learn new skills and operate different types of equipment in a supportive environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Washington driver's license.
• Familiarity with hand tools (shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.).
• Ability to stand or walk for four or more hours per day.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• History of good employment attendance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loads and conveyor belts.
• Perform clean-up of work areas on a daily basis.
• Assist with picking up plastic around the facility.
• Routine maintenance of the facility, including weeding, watering, and planting as directed.
• Wash and clean heavy equipment.
• May operate light to medium equipment once fully trained.
• Other duties as assigned.
