The GROUND BEEF QUALITY ASSURANCE TECH I position is responsible for monitoring compliance with SOP's, SSOP's, and GMP among associates, as well as performing HACCP procedures to adhere to federal regulations. The role involves direct contact with USDA representatives and presenting records upon request. The technician will review records for accuracy and assist QA supervision and management in data gathering and investigations. Close collaboration with production associates is essential to monitor product specifications and address any deficiencies. The position requires problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Additionally, the technician will monitor the implementation of food safety and quality procedures on the production floor, reporting and correcting any deficiencies. The role involves extended walking and standing in a cold/freezing environment and may include other assigned duties.
