About The Position

GROUND BEEF PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR Ground Beef Production Supervisor Manage and supervise hourly employees Responsible for the motivation and safety of those employees Prepare pre-operational paperwork Ensure area is properly staffed/crewed to meet operational needs Coach and develop employees to obtain results Responsible for meeting volume goals, reducing claims, maximizing yields, reducing cost and employee retention Maintains good working relationships with the Union, USDA and Maintenance employees

Requirements

• Two years supervisory experience preferred in a food manufacturing/meat processing setting preferred
• Ability to work a Monday through Friday including weekends when needed
• Ability to work a second shift
• Ability to work in a cold fast paced environment
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills
• EOE/Vets/Disability
