You Have: Experience with the CMS Medicare Ground Ambulance Data Collection System, the CMS Emergency Triage, Treat, and Transport ( ET3 ) model, or the CMS Repetitive Scheduled Non-Emergency Transports ( RSNAT ) model Experience advising federal clients on Medicare policy and operations while developing deep, t rus ting advisory relationships Experience gathering requirements for analyses to answer research questions, and developing and delivering presentations of results to clients Experience overseeing the work of analysts c ond ucting claims data analyses Knowledge of federal rulemaking processes Knowledge of data validation procedures to drive data quality in user-submitted data systems Ability to comprehend federal health policy and design analyses to support monitoring and the impact of policy changes Ability to provide publication of peer-reviewed articles that use the National EMS Information System ( NEMSIS ) dataset, the National Registry of Emergency Medical Techni cia ns ( NREMT ) , or ambulance claims data Master's degree in Public Policy , Public Health, Economics, or Data Analytics Nice If You Have: Experience with the federal procurement and proposal process Knowledge of Medicare's rules for ambulance organizations and how Medicare sets rates for ambulance services Ability to display a record of peer-reviewed publications related to Medicare ground ambulance policy , quality, or operations Ability to develop training plans, materials, and sessions to ensure data submitters have adequate instructions on how to use a data collection system interface Ability to advise teams providing technical assistance to data submitters on how to resp ond to questions about complex cost reporting Ability to review user testing plans and contribute to UAT to ensure data collection processes and tools will deliver high-quality data to end users Ability to provide content and final review of help desk standard responses, and review and occasionally provide input to complex inquiries Doctorate degree in Public Policy , Public Health, Economics, Data Science a related field
