About The Position

The Groomer position at All American Pet Resorts in Greensboro, NC, is focused on providing exceptional grooming and pet care services to dogs. The role requires a compassionate and skilled individual who can perform various grooming tasks while ensuring customer satisfaction and animal safety. The groomer will work on-site within the pet resort and report directly to the General Manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a groomer, or certification of completion from a formal grooming program.
• Certification in grooming for all experience levels is a plus.
• Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, shelter, or veterinary setting is a plus.
• Ability to handle and restrain dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for grooming aesthetics.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift medium to large dogs.
• Compassionate and a love for dogs, as well as a commitment to their well-being.
• Basic computer skills, familiarity with Gingr is a plus.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, hair cutting, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
• Assess the condition of each dog's coat and skin to recommend appropriate grooming techniques.
• Use grooming tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their grooming preferences and the pet's grooming needs.
• Handle dogs with care and patience, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming environment.
• Keep accurate records of services provided and products used on each pet.
• Manage appointments using our operations software and ensure timely service delivery.
