Groomer- Part Time
About The Position
The Pet Resort at Greensprings is looking for and experience, part time Groomer who can work independently and help our pups look and feel their best. This role is perfect for someone who already has hands-on grooming experience and wants flexibility to set their own hours within the afternoon and weekend needs. This is not a high level/ show grooming, but you do need to be confident, capable, and comfortable working with a variety of dogs. As a Dog Bather, you'll play a key role in keeping our four-legged clients clean, happy, and comfortable. You’ll work with a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments, so confidence, patience, and a love for animals are a must!
Requirements
- Prior grooming experience
- Ability to work independently and manage your time
- Physically able to lift, bathe, and move dogs safely
- Reliability and good communication
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Bathe and dry dogs of all sizes and coat types
- Perform basic to moderate grooming (including brushing, nail trims, & ear cleaning) in addition to full grooms
- Work independently while staying on schedule
