The Grocery Stock Clerk is responsible for maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery department. This role involves assisting in unloading merchandise, transporting stock to storage areas, and ensuring that store shelves are fully stocked according to tag allocations. The clerk will also assist in building store displays, keep perishable merchandise rotated, and control the level of damaged goods. Proper presentation of the assigned section before the end of the scheduled work shift is essential, along with observing company policies and procedures.
