About The Position

The GROCERY/Person In Charge (PIC) is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role assists the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, monitors quality assurance standards, and helps direct and supervise all department functions and activities, specifically supporting day-to-day Grocery operations. The position requires demonstrating the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Qualify Food Centers (QFC), based in Washington, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and now serves customers in 59 stores across Washington and Oregon. Responsibilities

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return.
Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department.
Monitor all established quality assurance standards.
Assist in directing and supervising all functions, duties and activities for the department.
Support the day-to-day functions of the Grocery operations.
