About The Position
The GROCERY/LEAD CLERK is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role assists the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals and monitors quality assurance standards. The position also requires demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Fred Meyer, based in Portland, Oregon, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and serves customers in over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. - Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department
- Monitor all established quality assurance standards
