Market of Choice in South Eugene is now hiring for Grocery Deli Clerk positions starting at $16.10/hour up to $18.60/hour depending on experience, with growth opportunity. Among your duties as a Grocery Deli Clerk, you will assist customers in selection, recommendations, and stocking of our delicious products- pre-packaged meats, cheeses, and dairy products. Requirements
- Applicants should be available any shift including weekends.
- You must be 18 years or older.
Nice To Haves
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience handling perishable products with an application to working in grocery deli and/or dairy departments.
- Preference given to applicants with experience stocking and rotating products.
Responsibilities
- Stock, face and rotate perishable products
- Assisting the Grocery Deli Manager in writing orders (as needed)
- Assisting with inventory and maintaining other pertinent records
- Adhere to regular cleaning schedule to ensure cleanliness of department
- Accurately pull and record shrink as requested
- Exercise proper storage and usage of products and supplies
- Sweep, mop, pick up refuse, collect and bale cardboard
