Our North Babylon store is now hiring a Full-Time Grocery Clerk - and we'd love for you to be part of our family. Job Summary As a Grocery Clerk, you'll play an important role in keeping our store organized, clean, and inviting. You'll ensure products are well-stocked, properly labeled, and easy for customers to find - all while delivering friendly, helpful service.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to lift boxes weighing 30+ pounds safely
- Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching throughout your shift
- Can climb ladders and move around tight spaces when needed
- Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
- A positive, customer-first attitude and team-player mindset
Responsibilities
- Stocking shelves neatly and safely with grocery items
- Ensuring all items are labeled and priced correctly
- Rotating stock and checking expiration dates
- Assisting customers with locating products
- Maintaining product displays so they look great and organized
- Supporting other departments when needed, including bagging and carrying groceries for customers
- Following all store policies, safety guidelines, and local regulations
