About The Position

Bring your upbeat attitude and team spirit to Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace and help keep our shelves stocked and shining! Our North Babylon store is now hiring a Part-Time Grocery Clerk - and we'd love for you to be part of our family. As a Grocery Clerk, you'll play an important role in keeping our store organized, clean, and inviting. You'll ensure products are well-stocked, properly labeled, and easy for customers to find - all while delivering friendly, helpful service.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Able to lift boxes weighing 30+ pounds safely
• Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching throughout your shift
• Can climb ladders and move around tight spaces when needed
• Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
• A positive, customer-first attitude and team-player mindset

Responsibilities

• Stocking shelves neatly and safely with grocery items
• Ensuring all items are labeled and priced correctly
• Rotating stock and checking expiration dates
• Assisting customers with locating products
• Maintaining product displays so they look great and organized
• Supporting other departments when needed, including bagging and carrying groceries for customers
• Following all store policies, safety guidelines, and local regulations
