About The Position
As a Grocery Clerk/Stocker at Jewel-Osco, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our grocery store operates smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to stock groceries on shelves, ensuring that products are organized and readily available for our customers. This position requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service, as you will be interacting with customers regularly, assisting them with their inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment, which includes keeping the aisles clear and ensuring that all products are properly labeled and displayed. In addition to stocking shelves, you will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and assisting with restocking items as needed. This may involve lifting and moving boxes of groceries, so physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items are essential. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that all products are fresh and appealing to customers. This is a part-time position, and you will have the flexibility to work either day or night shifts, depending on your availability.
