About The Position

The Grocery/Asst Dept Leader assists the Department Manager in planning, organizing, staffing, training, and directing Grocery Department associates. This role involves performing production and customer service functions, and maximizing store sales and profits safely and ethically in accordance with company policies and procedures. The individual is expected to demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. King Soopers, based in Colorado, merged with The Kroger Company in 1983 and now serves customers in over 115 stores across Colorado and Wyoming.
