Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; must be coachable.
  • Passion to work and learn in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to act with disciplined initiative.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Basic math and recording abilities.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • 1+ years’ experience within manufacturing, technical and/or trade discipline.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Comfortable working with different business systems like SAP, ATMS and week plan.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting operating a variety of machines.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles.
  • Demonstrated competency in computer and pc software including MS Office and email.
  • Experience with SAP or other warehouse management system.
  • Understands production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Move product inside the site.
  • Load trailers for shipment.
  • Complete shipping paperwork.
  • Ensure that raw materials are available for production lines on time.
  • Communicate potential shortages to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain close contact with Operations team to ensure that there are no delays in manufacture.
  • Raise relevant escalations that have an impact on safety, quality and efficiency.
