About The Position

The purpose of this job is to cut tubes to the required dimensions and geometries as specified in the drawings. The role involves performing various tasks related to the assembly, inspection, cleaning, finishing, and metal fabrication of products.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent (required).
• Requires 6 – 12 months to learn and apply comprehensive skills, basic to moderate levels of mechanical skills, and the operation of equipment and machinery used by the department.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs work by reading instructions and drawings; identifying non-conforming product.
• Verifies specifications by using proper measuring tools.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules and regulations.
• Follows all product handling procedures; handles product with care.
• Documents actions by completing production forms and routers.
• Uses various inspection tools to include micrometers, calipers, and microscope to verify workmanship of product.
• Notifies group leader or supervisor of any problems or quality related issues.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to stand throughout eight hour shift.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related goals and results as needed within the Assembly/Inspection, Cleaning/Finishing, and Metal Fabrication Department.
• Performs other duties as required.
