About The Position
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, this position grinds and smooths surfaces, weld seams, and weld spatter on units prior to finishing operations. This position differentiates from level II in that they do not assist supervision with tasks including training and enforcement of safety procedures. The incumbent may be in the process of being trained on these tasks, but does not perform them independently or regularly. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
