Position requires training. Tasks are generally repetitive operations and other manual tasks. Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following company and OSHA safety rules and regulations, understanding machine safeguards, recognizing and reporting safety hazards, and wearing required PPE.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (GED) is preferred.
- Must be familiar with OSHA regulations and have the ability to work well with others.
Responsibilities
- Perform various procedures, including but not limited to loading/inspecting parts, lifting stringers and pans, wheel changes, minor CNC adjustments, machine maintenance, and paying close attention to blade thickness.
- Inspect product for quality using micrometers and/or visual inspections.
- Inform supervision of any production or quality problems.
- Maintain minimum standard rate.
- Report accurate count of production parts, scrap, and labor hours by completing required paperwork.
- Keep work area in clean and orderly condition, complying with established 6S standards.
- Perform special assignments and/or duties as assigned.
