The essential function of this position requires prioritizing and completing all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, adjusting for changing priorities and availability of resources, and demonstrate initiative identifying additional job-related tasks to be completed when time permits. As part of this team, you will assist in all tasks to support assembly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read tape measures accurately. (digital & non-digital)

Nice To Haves

Experience in a grinding role within a manufacturing environment, preferred.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

Able to properly use the hand-held grinder to finish products according to design specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine product requirements.
Inspect workpieces for defects, ensuring conformity to specifications and quality standards.
Selects mounts and attaches various attachments to grind different shapes and surfaces on products.
Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
Document production and quality data accurately and efficiently.
Follow well-established guidance from specified process instructions, blueprints, and communicated instructions from other team members.
Utilize designated manual tools, power tools and other provided equipment to build sub-

Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
