About The Position
Schaefer's Electrical Enclosures is a trusted manufacturer of custom and standard electrical enclosures. Position Overview We are seeking a Grinder to join our 3rd shift (9:00PM - 05:30AM.) production team. This role is responsible for grinding, finishing, and preparing metal parts to meet company standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-minded, and thrives in a team environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior grinding or metal fabrication experience is helpful, but training is available.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and team-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Operate grinders and related equipment to smooth and finish metal parts.
- Remove excess material, burrs, and welds from components.
- Inspect workpieces for quality and accuracy.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules.
