Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish grinding operations to prepare parts for all types of paint finishes.
• Repair bad weld joints to a state that appears cosmetically pleasing.
• Understand grades of abrasive and their uses to obtain required finishes while maintaining an acceptable level of production.
• Use disc grinders or belt grinders to remove material to meet required dimensions.
• Analyze the quality of ground surface to its capability of meeting a specific finish requirement.
