Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating heavy machinery, performing manual labor, and working closely with a teammate under the direction of a Team Lead.
Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic computer skills for data entry
- Ability to lift 55 lbs repetitively and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Load and operate industrial grinding machines safely and efficiently
- Palletize finished products for shipment
- Perform repetitive manual lifting of up to 55 lbs
- Operate forklifts to transport materials
- Input production data accurately using computer systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and report any issues to the Team Lead
- Work collaboratively as part of a 2-person team
