About The Position
Grinder Machine Operator needed for manufacturer in Hamden and Torrington, CT Pay: $18.50-$30, based on experience Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm The Grinder Operator will be responsible for: Responsible for sharpening various types of milling cutters, drills, taps or turning tools as required. Manufacturing special form relieved cutters, and maintaining inventory of cutter grinding supplies. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Maintains quality standards and records quality results. Grinder Machine Operator Operator Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 1-3 years experience in grinder, cutting, or machine operating Experience with manual grinding, blueprint reading, micrometers/calipers, optical comparator leadership experience to help facilitate work culture in the shop Apply today for immediate consideration!
