Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
Prior experience in a rendering facility or production environment preferred.
Works well with other in a team environment
Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

General plant labor.
Utilize and operate a forklift
Utilize lab equipment to take samples and perform tests on products
Temperature monitoring of product and rotator operation
Fresh meat sampling/Frozen meat sampling
Raw product unloading
Finished product loading
Plate Freezer Operation
Inventory counts
Stretch Wrapper Operation
Pressure Washer Operation
Housekeeping, hosing down floors, moping, sweeping, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc.
Shovel and clean up spills in the plant.
Keep barrels emptied of trash and products.
Clean equipment from top to bottom.
Help unstop screw conveyors.
Cut plastic and product off of screw.
Keep floor drains cleaned out and covers on drains.
Paint as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
