Hourly rate for this position is $15.45/hour. The Grillroom Attendant assists in the daily operation and general maintenance of the grillrooms at Blair Park Golf Course and Oak Hollow Golf Course; does related work as required. The Grillroom Attendant will be trained in golf shop and clubhouse operations to assist as needed. Work is performed under regular supervision of the Grillroom Supervisor. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidays. Must be 18 years of age. Must agree to sell beer.

Requirements

Must have completed a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be comfortable in a customer service role.
Must have experience operating a computer.

Responsibilities

Greets customers, accepts and places orders, and serves food and merchandise
Cleans and prepares tables, and assists with preparation of food
Answers telephone questions and takes phone orders
Waits on customers, accepts and places orders
Assists with group catering and serving
Assists in operation of on-course beverage cart, as needed
Serves as cashier, balances cash drawer, completes daily revenue calculation, prepares deposits
Checks deliveries for accuracy, stocks shelves as required
Performs general custodial duties, removes trash, cleans kitchen counters and floor, cleans dining area, cleans restrooms, and other janitorial related duties
Opens grillroom at beginning of workday, closes and secures at end of workday
Assists in operation of the golf shop and clubhouse
Assists in preparing golf cart fleet for the golfing public, as needed
Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and City Safety Standards and Policies.
