Position Summary: The Million Dollar Hole Culinary Artist Ready to cook on one of the most prestigious golf courses in Texas? Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a dynamic, professional, and enthusiastic Grill Cook to join the team at Slick Rock Grill, home of the famous Million Dollar Hole. This role is a crucial part of the resort's Food & Beverage Operations, focusing on the high-quality, courteous preparation of menu items for our discerning members and guests. This is a full-time, tipped role where your speed, presentation, and warm hospitality directly impact member satisfaction and your earnings. Essential Job Functions (Robust Culinary Duties) The Grill Cook is responsible for the full kitchen operation, demanding precision, cleanliness, and speed. Culinary Execution: Courteously and efficiently prepare all menu items to order, ensuring quality and presentation meet Horseshoe Bay Resort's luxury standards. Member Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to all members and guests, ensuring a positive experience is created with every interaction. Financial Handling: Accurately process and collect proper payment information for all items sold. Preparation & Stocking: Proactively stock, prepare, and organize all necessary food and supply items in anticipation of daily business volume. Operational Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine and sanitary work environment , performing daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and countertop sanitization before the end of each shift. Requirements

  • Prior professional kitchen experience, specifically focused on grill or line cooking.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing the highest level of prompt and courteous service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Neat in appearance and well-groomed, maintaining strict adherence to resort uniform standards (including slip-resistant, enclosed-toe and heel footwear).
  • ServSafe Alcohol Awareness Certification Required
  • High School (Required)
