About The Position

The Grill Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items on the grill station while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. This position ensures meals are prepared accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company recipes and health regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous grill or line cook experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and portion standards
  • Operate grill and related kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain proper food temperatures and follow all food safety guidelines
  • Set up and stock grill station before service
  • Restock and rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) method
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
  • Follow sanitation and glove-use policies
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Assist with prep work and other kitchen duties as assigned
