About The Position

The Grill Cook prepares all food for patients, visitors and hospital staff. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
1-3 years experience
Minimum Age: 18
Prior experience working in a hospital, commercial restaurant, or other food service operation preferred
Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill and present a variety of hot and or cold food items
Ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions in English
Ability to accurately follow instructions when using, disposing, and mixing chemicals
Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential
Ability to maintain a positive attitude
Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect
Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, supervisors, managers, and all customers
Must comply with dress code requirements
Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
Ability to lift 25 pounds, Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 8 hours)
