Job Summary: The Club at Strawberry Creek is seeking a skilled and motivated Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-quality food preparation, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role focuses on preparing high-quality menu items for daily grill service while maintaining consistency, speed, and kitchen standards in a private club environment.

Requirements

  • Previous grill or line cook experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and club events

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Executive Chef.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
  • Assist in food prep tasks, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, and marinating proteins.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with health regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
  • Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures as directed by the chef team.
  • Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in a team-focused environment.
