About The Position

Family owned food service company is looking for hardworking and motivated individuals! We are a fast paced and fast growing company that wants to put in time in to you!!! If your ready to grow, learn and be appreciated please apply! We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to PRG menu standard. Moday - Friday. All major holidays off. Opportunities for overtime during special events. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH HIGH PACE ENVIRNOMENT AND BE ABLE TO GRILL MORE THAN ONE ORDER AT A TIME. The location is at the Pavilion at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor.

Requirements

Proven experience as cook
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to work in a team
Very good communication skills

Responsibilities

Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
Expedite orders to customers (requires customer interaction)
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Check quality of ingredients
Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
