Fuddruckers is hiring a qualified full-time or part-time Grill Cook to become a valuable team member. The Grill Cook is responsible for grilling a variety of foods in many different ways, with special training and/or experience in the art of cooking. This role involves preparing and cooking beef and other types of meat to each customer's exact specifications, as well as poultry and fish, while maintaining full control of the grill station. In addition to grilling, the Grill Cook is also required to fry sides, poultry, and fish dishes as part of their duties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of training and/or experience in cooking and will be responsible for ensuring that all products are prepared to Fuddruckers specifications, following freshness standards, temperatures, and hold times as directed by company, local, state, and federal guidelines. The Grill Cook must keep open communication with other cooks and the expeditor to meet guest needs, monitor ticket times to ensure guests receive their orders in accordance with Fuddruckers ticket time standards, and practice, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures according to policy and health/sanitation regulations. Additionally, the Grill Cook is expected to manage and maintain a safe working condition, maintain fast and accurate service, and ensure products are consistent with quality standards. A professional appearance is required, and the candidate should be a problem solver with the ability to adapt and overcome challenges. The role requires multitasking abilities and a strong sense of urgency, as well as the ability to cross-train in other areas as needed. Other tasks may be assigned by management as necessary.
